Established in 1978, Avison Young creates economic, social and environmental value as a global real estate advisor. Avison Young supports their clients, consisting of both investors and property occupants, to develop commercial spaces. At the heart of their business, is the ambition to create workspaces that boost employee’s wellbeing and productivity, whilst creating prosperous city spaces.

The Challenge

Avison Young were moving into brand new office space in Leeds City Centre and wanted this space designed to fit the evolving needs of their business. Like many businesses, Avison Young has adopted the hybrid-working model for their workforce to offer their employees flexibility and safety. This meant they already had preferred providers within the business for their chosen collaboration software, Microsoft Teams so we needed to ensure any systems provided fit into their existing workflow. They also wanted to have a flexible working zone too, where people could discuss, present and collaborate with access to an interactive display.

Success

Avison Young opted to use Microsoft Teams as their video & collaboration software, so we rolled out the Yealink MVC Microsoft Teams room series across the office meeting spaces. With high-definition audio and video, automatic speaker tracking, background noise reduction and instant wireless screen sharing, these units have enabled Avison Young employees to host seamless, distraction-free virtual meetings. 

All the video enabled spaces and additional areas were kitted out with the latest Samsung 4K Commercial displays. We installed two 75” Samsung Flip interactive whiteboards in the flexible workspace and the boardroom to spark collaboration and hold engagement in meetings. We also installed a 55” Smart TV in the break area where staff can stream their own content or watch TV. Meanwhile, we equipped the personal workspaces with Dell Ultrasharp monitors which integrated perfectly to the bespoke furniture.
