Blacks are a large outdoor leisure chain of stores, selling outdoor-based clothing, camping equipment and running gear. They are part of the JD Group and have nearly 70 stores nationwide.
The Client’s Challenge
UXG were asked to present and install a selection of Digital Signage solutions with the purpose of communicating easily & effectively with the customer. Displaying advertisements and promotions both inside the store and to the outside public, through a window display.
We implemented a 2×2 Video Wall in their Leicester store, comprising of 4x 55”, HD, LED-backlit, High Bright Display Panels. With crisp contrast and ultra-slim bezels, these panels ensure clear, distraction-free imaging. The video wall was supported by a telescopic floor to ceiling mounts, with a black shell fitted around the screens to hide cabling and bracketry systems, creating a contemporary clean finish.
We also installed a 49” Digital Display Panel behind the till area which allowed the content to flow from outside to inside the store seamlessly. This solution offers brilliant picture quality, simple control, and reliable connectivity.
A bespoke answer to the requirement of Digital Signage, inclusive of a content management system (CMS) that allows the client to remotely create and control the content across all screens through playlists and scheduling. This enables the client to make changes or deploy new campaigns based on current customer demand, availability, or emergency situations.
