THE CLIENT
The Broadway is a shopping and leisure complex in the centre of Bradford, West Yorkshire. It was built and operated in its first year by the Westfield Corporation but is now owned by Meyer Bergman. It opened on 5 November 2015 and today has over 90 shops and eateries.
THE CHALLENGE
To design and create a solution set that allowed retailers located within shopping centres better options for advertising, customer attraction, functionality and style for service based RMU’s.
OUR SOLUTION
To design the perfect centre kiosks, we incorporated Corian solid surface into the kiosks which are favoured and indeed required by many of today’s shopping centres. We then also fitted digital screens to each aspect meaning traders can play their own videos, images, opening times, offers etc, rather than spoiling the aesthetics with traditional PoS. For additional ease of use for the traders, we added USB, power and data to the trading areas making it simple to connect laptops, phones and equipment. A full spectrum colour changing LED lighting system was built into the units so the traders can tailor the RMU to their own corporate colours and branding.
SUCCESS
We have achieved a tailored-to-suit solution, ideal for information and service-based traders. They are fully mobile, have lockable storage and are fully fire rated, making these RMU’s tick each and every box for the modern concession.
