LED display solutions that defy ordinary

The client

With over 65 stores across the UK, Footasylum is always one step ahead when it comes to streetwear. Always on the lookout for new and upcoming brands, they’ve got their finger firmly on the pulse of the street and sports fashion scene, aiming to ‘defy ordinary’.

UX Global has worked with Footasylum on a number of store openings and refurbishments including the Bristol and  Oxford Street stores which both feature UK-first digital display innovations. The huge new store in the Bullring Birmingham is located on the ground floor of the UK’s largest city centre shopping mall, in the site that was previously occupied by New Look.

The challenge

Footasylum was looking for ways to create impact throughout the store via innovative LED solutions including maximising the entrance. The UX Global team was tasked with bringing to life Footasylum’s new design concept, which was first launched in Lakeside in Essex earlier this year and followed closely by Oxford Street, using advanced digital capabilities to create a mobile-first customer journey that seamlessly connects Footasylum’s online and in-store offerings.

Our solution

Our digital display team designed and installed a number of LED solutions including surround and columns at the entrance of the store for instant impact; store front signage and cash desk tickers. The large display above the stairs, wardrobe LED displays and TV screens in the footwear area of the store add to the immersive shopping experience.
