A leading digital signage provider has launched a new occupancy management system to help retailers faced with new Covid-19 requirements measure the number of customers in-store.
Leeds-bas(UXG) has created Auto-Q, a bespoke digital signage solution that enables retailers to measure the number of customers inside their stores at any given time. It also provides a ‘traffic light’ system for automatic control of entry to the store, along with the additional ability to advertise key information to waiting customers.It operates using 3D sensors installed at the store entrance and exit points, which provide an accurate, real-time measure of exactly how many people are inside, with programmable e-mail and push notifications alerting staff at key capacity thresholds.UXG’s capabilities mean it is able to develop and integrate the complete system along with digital displays and housings, creating bespoke units that can be positioned internally or externally in line with store requirements.
